ROCHILLS LAUNCHES INNOVATIVE REMOVALS SERVICE FOR ITS CLIENTS

As a member of the prestigious Guild of Professional Estate Agents, family run estate agents Rochills can now offer its clients a free ‘de-cluttering’ service to make their home more attractive to buyers.

This innovative and novel idea was launched at The Guild’s Annual Conference, held recently at the Millennium Hotel, Grosvenor Square, London, attended by Members of the 700-strong plus network from across the UK.

The new de-clutter service includes free collection, free delivery and free storage for four weeks, operated by some of the country’s most highly regarded removals companies.  These include Abels, Britannia, Doree Bonner International, Fox Moving and Storage, GB Liners, and White & Company – who offer a combined force of 750 operatives trained to the BAR (British Association of Removers) Industry Standard, and 450 vehicles which are replaced every seven years. All the operative staff from the companies have been cleared by the MOD, are CRB checked, wear uniforms, carry ID cards, and have received in-house training including video presentations and written examinations.

Each client will be able to store selected belongings in a container up to 8ft by 7ft by 5ft in size, containing selected items such as kitchen and bedroom furniture, including beds and appliances – which will help improve the appearance of a property and make it more attractive to potential buyers.

Geoff Watson, M.D. of Doree Bonner International, revealed details of the scheme at the conference. “Together we have 1,050,000 square feet of storage space – that’s the equivalent of 220 football pitches, which Members’ clients can take advantage of.”

Marcus Whewell, CEO of The Guild of Professional Estate Agents, said: “We are delighted to be working with the most respected removals companies in the UK on this scheme, which is a fantastic service for our Members to be able to offer to their clients. Our aim is to help people move, and this new initiative could be a significant assist. It shows the commitment of professional estate agents to identifying new schemes and services which could really make the difference for their customers.”

Marcel Roccia of Rochills, Walton on Thames added, ‘we’re always searching for new ways to improve our offering and this service is a great addition to our home movers’.

LOCAL ESTATE AGENTS ROCHILLS GIVE SUPPORT TO WALTON’S ‘LITTLE LEGS’ IN RAISING MONEY FOR CANCER RESEARCH UK

Family run estate agency Rochills is urging parents to enrol their little one’s to take part in a junior fundraising event for Cancer Research UK next month. ‘Little Legs for Life’ will be held at Esher Rugby Club on June 8 and is sponsored by Rochills.  The race is designed especially for young boys and girls. Children walk or run as many 500m laps at the club as they can manage in order to raise money to help beat cancer.

‘Little Legs for Life’ started in 2009 when eight Hersham and Walton parents formed a fundraising group in memory of their friend, Sarah Jack, who died of cancer aged just 36. The group has already raised more than £80,000 through Little Legs for Life and annual Pink Party. This year with the help of the local community, they hope to smash through the £100,000 barrier.

Nancy Scott, chair of the Walton-on-Thames CRUK group, said; “We wanted to find a way that children could get involved in fundraising that was fun as well as a great community event. We are hoping to break the £100,000 mark this year and need the community to help us achieve this.

There are lots of other activities on the day with hospital station Radio Wey providing music for the afternoon as well as face painting, a cake stall, ice cream, a raffle and live auction. Rochills will be providing the refreshments and roaming entertainment. Families are encouraged to bring a picnic and stay on after the children have finished running.

Little Legs for Life takes place on Saturday 8th June at Esher Rugby Club from 2pm and is sponsored by family run estate agents Rochills. Registration is £6.50 per child and this includes a t-shirt and a medal.
